The word love
Here in the United States, the stores already have Valentine’s Day items out for display. It reminds me to buy another set of “love” bowls. I started this tradition on Valentine’s Day of 2007. It stems from Masaru Emoto’s work with water, and his spotlight in the “What the Bleep Do We Know?” movie. If even the thought vibrations that are projected onto water can change the water’s crystalline appearance, then the same goes for our food. Emoto’s work shows that when thoughts and written words are projected onto water, the shape of the crystal it produces becomes more or less visually beautiful, depending on the thought. The words “you make me sick” produce an asymmetrical shape that’s not so pretty. The words “I love you” produce a very symmetrical crystal as beautiful as a picture-perfect snowflake.
I read of many testimonials from people who had different ideas about how to project “love” into their water. Some people said they would write the word love, or the Japanese symbol for love on their home’s main water dispenser. Some people write “love” on the clear plastic water bottles they carry around. I believe this is similar to praying over your food before you eat it. It’s a way to bless all the people that partake of that water.
So, I noticed that each year at Valentine’s Day, the stores have a different design of flatware in the kitchen department featuring the word “love” on a bowl or plate. I love it. Eating from these bowls helps me to remember to bless my food, and helps me believe the food will be vibrating at the best rate for my body. The first year I bought three plastic love bowls, but they didn’t last the entire year. The next year, I also bought three plastic love bowls and they have lasted, mostly because of my intentions. I hunt them down when one of my children takes it to a new location, I’m more careful in washing it, etc.
These bowls are easy to find during the Valentine’s season and cheap to buy, if you get the plastic ones. Why not start your own tradition? Eat from a Love bowl all year long!

I didn’t know that about water. Now I have to try it
. If you think about it, it really makes sense to send loving energy to water too. Thank you for sharing this information. Many blessings

I’m glad you stopped by just after I posted this info about water, then! I hope you got to follow the link about Emoto; there is a lot published about his work available on search engines. Today I got my camera back and was able to take a photo of my “love bowl,” and now it’s up on the blog. ~Jessica

Masaru’s water experiment is just amazing to me. It definitely altered my perception of the power we hold with our thoughts.
I practice giving thanks for the food I am about to eat. An elderly lady once told me that “it might just digest better.” As she was nearing retirement and could out last me in most situations, I decided she knew what she was talking about. Gratitude-it works for me!
Your love plates are adorable. I have to believe that they are having a positive affect on your family.

The more I practice it, the more I find gratitude works for me, too.

I love Dc Masaru’s experiments, after I first read about them I started taping loving words to my bottles of water and them I put the bottles in the freezer. So everyday when I take a new bottle of water out of the freezer I know it has been blessed with loving words, I started calling it ‘Grateful Water’ as most of the words I use are based around appreciation and gratitude.
I also bought a collection of bowls that I named ‘Validation Bowls’ after the Validation Video that is going around, they have inspiring words written around the top of the bowl and inside on the bottom, they always give me a boost especially when I get to the bottom and see the words You Rock!
Great Post.
I love your bowls they are very cute.

Carol: By those validation bowls, do you mean like, “You look wonderful in that shirt” as in what I saw on the cute video you posted a while ago? “You’re so talented” “You’re great at making people smile”….That kind of thing?
